Trash Information for Single Family Residents
Anything that can't be recycled or put into the brush collection cart goes into the gray trash cart. Remember, anything that is placed into the trash goes directly to the landfill. However, many items that we cannot accept in the Recycling or brush collection program can be accepted elsewhere. Please visit our Hard to Recycle page to see a list of alternatives to throwing these and other items into the trash. All trash that goes into your cart must be bagged to insure that it does not fly around and end up on the roadside.

How to dispose of extra trash?
It is very common to have extra trash during a cleanup or during the Holiday season; to ensure pick up of your extra trash you will need to either purchase our pre-paid bags, change your service to accommodate the increase or you will now have an option to rent a temporary 64 or 96 gallon cart. Please see our Temporary Cart and Bin services for more information.
