Trash Information for Commercial Customers
Anything that can't be recycled or composted goes into the gray trash cart or gray trash bin.Remember, anything that is placed into the trash goes directly to the landfill. However, many items that we cannot accept in the recycling or brush collection program can be accepted elsewhere. - Bubble wrap
- Cellophane wrap (non-stretchable plastic)
- Ceramic dishware or glassware
- Clothing and linens
- Coat hangers
- Diapers
- Foam Rubber
- Food
- Foil-backed or plastic-backed paper
- Fluorescent - colored paper or sticky notes
- Garden Hose
- Glass mirrors and windows
- Juice or soy milk type boxes with foil liner
- Kitty litter and animal feces (bagged)
- Metallic or foil wrapping paper
- Old medicine, bagged and tied shut and placed in the kitty litter bag
- Pens and pencils
- Personal hygiene products
- Plastic corks
- Plastic cutlery
- Plastic and wire hangers
- Rubber bands
- Plywood, pressboard, and painted or stained wood smaller than 6" diameter x 30" long
- Soiled paper (paper cups, plates, napkins, towels, take-out boxes)
- Small plastic toys
- Snack bags and wrappers
- Waxed cardboard or paper
How to dispose of extra trash?
It is very common to have extra trash during a cleanup or during the Holiday season; to ensure pick up of your extra trash, call our office to schedule an extra pick up or rent a temporary cart or bin. Please see our Temporary Cart and Bin services for more information.
